We are pleased to announce our new development.

In January of this year Kingston & Frontenac Housing Corporation received full approval from the City to build a 27 unit senior's residence at 233 Queen Mary Road.

This affordable housing development is considered a sister building to 129 Van Order Drive and will feature barrier free design, ample closet space, efficient floor plans, grab bars in the bathrooms, a community room, outdoor parking and worry free indoor and outdoor maintenance. 129 Van Order Drive

We are proud of our senior's housing development at 129 Van Order Drive. The Affordable Housing Development is located in the central part of Kingston and consists of 49 units made possible through grants from the Municipal, Provincial and Federal Governments. Certain income thresholds are targeted as part of the selection criteria. Therefore, income information must be provided prior to approval in order to verify eligibility.

The building has been fully occupied since December 2007. If you are interested in applying for this building, you can pick up an application or make enquiries at the Kingston & Frontenac Housing Corporation office located at 119 Van Order Drive or download the application below.

Building features include two elevators, community rooms, in-house mailboxes, laundry facilities, wall-to-wall carpeting, ample closet space, efficient floor plans, grab bars in all bathrooms, one and two bedroom units available, fully modified units, barrier free design, worry free indoor and outdoor maintenance, affordable rents and outdoor parking.

Residency Requirements

  • All tenants and occupants must be 65 years of age or older
  • Your income must not exceed $33,000 for a 1 bedroom apartment or $40,000 for a 2 bedroom apartment
  • A last month's rent deposit will be required
